ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Mohammad Abdullah Enan (1896-1986), One of the Arab World's most renowned contemporary Historians. He was a lawyer by profession. He had served as Assistant Director to the Egyptian Interior Ministry's Press Department. He was also a Lecturer at the Faculty of Art at Fouad University which is now Cairo University.
